應該是我的第一場舞台劇。

OK。第二場。突然想到中學時整個學校去很像是Victoria Concert Hall支持學年的大製作﹐Westside Story。被逼的吧。。我不記得我是為了故事而去(我也完全忘了Westside Story的故事)﹐就算是自願去﹐也是去支持朋友的吧。

對。我雖生於天秤之下﹐卻沒什麼文化修養可言。

說回搖滾聊齋﹐這桑曉的故事我是沒聽過(沒讀聊齋﹐沒讀101夜)﹐就以一個初體驗的態度去觀賞。因為有折扣﹐就買了最貴的票。台前第三排﹐我的前面兩排是空的。(難道是效仿七月歌台留些座位? ... CHOY CHOY CHOY!)

前面雖好﹐但累了眼睛。Subtitles太高了﹐有時臺詞講得太快或唱得太模糊眼睛就得飄到高處讀一下subtitle。越靠近視線也就越被限制﹐所以如果整個舞台都有不同的戲時(如桑曉和成半仙被召了回來時那一幕)﹐也不知要注視哪裡才好。

好處就是表情都看到完咯。嬰寧不顧折修行闖地府卻看到沒有魚蝦也好(沒有嬰寧封三娘也好)的桑曉與封三娘時的歇斯底裡﹐成半仙被閻羅王的法力動彈不得時在那兒念念有詞施法術設法脫綁時的搞笑模樣﹐一一看得清楚。就是不知道桑曉和成半仙的頭髮和化妝是如何變黑變年輕的。

演出是很精彩﹐表演者的肢體語言很豐富﹐即使掉了碗也還讓我以為是故意的(那個掉碗的人是慢動作轉向碗飛過的方向嘛﹐那個隨後該接回碗的人也沒假意要回那個碗)。成半仙差點掉下舞台也是。還以為是故意做嚇倒的動作﹐事後想想﹐他們的世界里那個洞應該不存在吧。

差就差在音響吧。看慣五月天的﹐這種很像equalizer沒調好的搖滾樂有點滾不了。就很像音響被蓋了一層厚布一樣﹐模糊的。又有些歌曲唱的部份被音樂蓋過了聽不清楚。還有就是<雙棲動物>的曲被用了太多次了﹐仿彿就像是舞台劇的主題曲(難道是?)。

董姿彥是棒的。黃文鴻的角色有很多平衡動作﹐看起來有點危險﹐容易出錯。Sugie的第一次也很厲害。

我喜歡成半仙﹐就因為他搞笑﹐也唯一像凡人的人物﹐沒事把事情弄得一塌糊塗﹐沒弄清楚就亂下定論﹐沒練好功夫就狐假虎威。是可愛的咯。

再來就也許是那個流眼淚的鬼﹐沒什麼﹐就讓我印象深刻才。

這處劇﹐我沒哭。也許我冷血。只是很奇怪﹐看One Piece我哭了不下5次﹐這種愛情重逢(算嗎? 也不知道該如何形容)的畫面我一點也不覺得想流眼淚咧。難道是因為我沒有愛?

Duhhh...

不覺得傷感﹐也不恐怖(除了一開始暗暗的部份)﹐其實都蠻好笑的。

長長的一篇﹐乾脆再打一下廣告。去看吧!

Professor Layton and The Eternal Diva

A film from one of Nintendo DS's best selling titles, which I'm quite a fan of, Professor Layton and The Eternal Diva is about Jenis Quatlane, an acclaimed opera singer, who wrote a letter to Prof. Layton regarding her friend Mirena, that passed away a year ago but appeared in the form of a 7 year old girl in front of her. She invited Prof. and gang to her latest opera performance and thus sparks off the quest to find the eternal potion, with a mystery game that the audience are forced to participate.

Althou it's a GV-exclusive film and showing only in 6 cinemas, there's actually not much publicity done on this and I would not have known of its existence had I not read the review in Today papers. The cinema has probably only 20 people.. and I actually went for Maki-chan's voiceover, not really for the show.

Then again, I prefer the game anyday. Point-and-tap fun and brain engaging (ok I admit I do use the walkthrough at times..).

The show is kind of boring for most of the 1st half, except for Inspector Growski's appearance, 'cuse me, chest-hair-bulging appearance. As he gets dropped/pushed/jumped into the shark-filled sea time and again, he'll squeeze the water from his hair off like a towel and his clothes will get more and more tattered, i.e. more and more chest hair bulging. Finally when Remi picks him up from the debris-from-the-exploded-Crown-Petone, he was seen hanging his clothes from the airplane, and squeezing water from his boxer shorts (and eventually losing it when Remi did a sharp drop), perpetually naked other than his heart-shaped chest hair, behind Remi in the plane.

Yes, his chest hair is THAT distracting (cant find a screen grab thou).. But he's funny! Probably the only funny character around.

The front part is trying too hard to imitate the puzzle game but thankfully there's more action in the later part of the anime or I'll probably jus doze off (I was actually yawning away...).

The music is good, with pipe organ + orchestra + opera. Can feel the tingles under ur skin.

But I still cannot accept the British setting Japanese conversation part.

After 10 ep, Kyohei finally came to terms with his feelings for Sunako and Sunako is.. well.. still Sunako. HAHA! Ok with a bit of improvement to facing mabushii~ creatures. *Note: Kyohei, Takenaga, Ranmaru, Yuki and Noi, etc.

か君 is better looking with the shorter crop after ep 6. Sunako's tracksuit attire in ep 10 is hilarious. Fits the manga to a T. Probably cant think of anyone else to cast Sunako with my limited J-Dorama actresses knowledge.

My fav scene of ep 10. Yuki's questioning and Kyohei's response made my jaw drop.

All in all, the show is worth its #1 ranking in Dramacrazy. Definitely watchable, unless u're afraid of the "lightning-summoning" like the bird.

FWAH!! This show dwarfed 無間道 left right center. For me who din read the manga and who always tries to work the brain with detective series (think Conan and Kindaichi), this plot is superbly unpredictable.

Haruma Miura simply reminds me of Domoto Koichi. Playing the genius hacker Falcon, being used by both sides just to protect the ones he loved, he initially irk me with his rash and irrational actions. But then again, he's only in high school and he has to deal with adults conspiring against one another.

Hiroki Narimiya still has the couldn't-care-less genius shadow from Morita in Hachimitsu to Clover thou.

Suspense-filled 11 ep which isnt meant for the weak hearted, plots about a group of terrorists from an accidentally-made-defunct-by-Falcon religious cult, with a killer virus called Bloody X, and from it, controls the life and death of Japan population.

There's a twist in almost every ep, and of cos, the storywriter threw the biggest bomb in ep 10 & 11.

Another shocking fact that I found from researching..

*Special thanks for RR for picking this up and sending it to my doorstep amidst the risk of having the car dying on her.

The main backdrop of the Impel Down arc, which continues from Kuma sending all the strawhats into different directions and Luffy having an adventure of his own in Amazon Lily whilst charming Boa Hancock, the ruler of Amazon Lily.

Impel Down is the World Government's maximum security prison, housing pirates and criminals with huge bounties. Located in the middle of Calm Belt surrounded by swarms of sea kings' nests, it is almost impossible to reach by normal means, thus gaining its reputation of The Great Jail, as no one is able to break in, nor out (short of Shiki breaking out 20 years ago and Luffy, who later brought about the downfall of Impel Down)

Good job for including the ocean detail at the back of the tower, which most probably wun see much exposure time, as Impel Down is not a tower on land but a tower of hell into the depths of the sea.

The blood-laced bladed red trees on the upper part couldnt be seen clearly in the pic but that's Level 1. Level 2 has Basilisk althou Spinx is missing (GO-MEN!!!). Little ppl featured are Post 3rd Gear Mini Luffy and Buggy, but I would rather they have Mr 3 there since Luffy is already featured at Level 4.

As everyone says, Ace is missing. Big big boo boo.

And since this whole tower is about 30 cm tall and couldn't fit into the One Piece sections on the bookshelf, I have started the One Piece attack on the little plot of Gundam Seed territory in the cupboard above my table.. WAHAHA~

那女兒應該還處於叛逆期吧。而叛逆期會有什麼這麼寶貝? 香煙可以再買﹐就應該是男朋友送的什麼吧。

話說回來﹐我的叛逆期好像無風無險地過了。

還真的沒想到什麼咧。頂多應該只有曠課去KTV﹐頂老媽子的嘴罷了。那五個耳洞和那一頭金髮是過了20歲才幹的。難道﹐發育得晚嗎?!?

反正若要買什麼被老媽老爸子拒絕﹐去打個假期工賺點錢就買得到了。電腦就是這樣自己賺錢拼回來的。手機很像是理工二年紀時拉姑姑去申請的。男朋友﹐阿嬤說畢業後才交﹐就哦﹐沒拒絕 (反而現在著急的是她。哈哈!)。

無風無浪﹐聽起來還蠻無聊的。老媽老爸子不懂哪裡修來個這麼好養的女兒。。

而10年過了﹐現在也是一條直線地無聊著。

Was browsing through the popularity ranking on Dramacrazy and came across this film, which was screened in SG couple of months back.

So it got me watching after finishing with Kindaichi even thou I have not watched any of the series.

And.. I din realise Odagiri is か君. I'm not that good at recognising people unless they have a special streak, e.g. Matsuyama's (L) thin lips, Hiroki's (Morita/Nobu) naughty grin, etc. I just find that pretty boy familiar.. HAHA!

ごくせん is probably the female version of decades-back GTO, with Yankumi being a high school teacher by profession and the heir to a notorious yakuza clan off-work. She was assigned to the most notorious class in school and with her quirky behavior (playing kick-the-can to break the ice), protects her students from all sorts of situations which is out of her teaching job scope.

Yes, she is highly skilled in kung-fu (or taiji since it looks more like it), taking on 5 bodyguards at one go on her own.

I will definitely be watching the series since a browse through DramaWiki spotted a lot of Johnny's boys. Woot!!

Loads of series to catch! Bloody Monday, Gokusen, One Pound Gospel (RR recommendation). Ohohoho!!~~

Yes I'm addicted. Once again..

Story was set before Kindaichi becomes the well-known-among-police Kindaichi-kun. It's a dark one hour+ movie with some blood but otherwise..

Ok I only notice him after ep 7 of Yamato Nadeshiko, where he cut his hair. Hoho. Now I like!~

After Atashinchi, another Maki show.

Currently still running on Japan TV, Maki plays a delinquent, divorced without kids, 22 yr old admin scrivener who uses all sorts of methods, underhanded included, to protect her client, whereas Sho-kun plays a fresh out of school assistant admin scrivener who is always letting his emotions get the better of him.

Maki-chan has a more matured look in this drama, with the expensive-looking coats and bags, etc, and the bling bling phone. Image-wrecker: she smokes on screen. Oww..

There's a lot of law talk in this show thou..

CHEVR0N to cut 2,000 jobs

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Chevron Corp., the second largest U.S. oil company, announced on Tuesday that it would cut 2,000 jobs this year amid challenging market conditions.

The company said the cuts come as a part of its plans to boost earnings by lowering costs, exiting unprofitable markets, and streamlining its business.

"Market conditions are likely to be difficult for the next several years," said Mike Wirth, executive vice president of Chevron's Global Downstream division in a statement.

Lloyd Avram, a Chevron (CVX, Fortune 500) spokesman, told CNN that the cuts will come from areas including refining and marketing, and are a part of a larger restructuring effort.

Avram anticipates the new organizational structure will be in place by the third quarter.

The announcement comes as Chevron and its competitors face a tough economic environment, with lower oil prices and relatively low demand.

In January, Chevron reported fourth quarter earnings of $3.07 billion, which were down 39% from the prior year period.

The company said it plans to concentrate on its North American and Asia-Pacific markets, where it says it has a competitive advantage.

It also said that even after eliminating 2,000 positions in 2010, it will continue to cut jobs through 2011.

Chevron expects to take a first quarter charge of $150 million to $200 million in order to pay out severance packages.

Powered by Horikita Maki of Hanazakari no Kimitachi e fame, show starts in the park where the homeless resides with a dirty Maki-chan, who was bearing the 100 MM Yen debt of her dad, who ran away.

Kind of sound like Hayate no Gotoku till this point..

Okura Shinzo, picked her up from a heli while she was running away from the dad's debtors, and made her sign a pre-nuptial whereby her 100MM Yen debt to Shinzo-san will be cleared if she fulfils all the conditions listed, which includes getting the 5 + 1 adopted sons to live as a family.

This is one show which made my jaw drop numerous times, but the ending is a bit.. K-drama? Haha! Not going to spoil the show but this is another good one from Maki-chan.

Ultimate Swordsman

I've always been fascinated by swords and swords(wo)men, like how they can pull that bloody long sword out from the scabbard carried on the back in one swipe in uber-cool ninja style without getting stuck or how their blades can be so sharp it cuts everything in one swipe as well..

And since I've watched/currently watching a few animes (namely One Piece and Hitman Reborn) that has sword wielders claiming (either self-proclaimed or nominated doesnt matter)that they are the best in the world, I'm kind of trying to put them all in one battle of the ultimate. HAHA!

The 2nd man of Straw Hat Pirates, who uses Santoryu, i.e. wields 3 katanas, 1 in the mouth and 1 on each hand, and who either naps or does crazy weight trainings (or both together) during his free time, so even without his katanas, he is still able to unroot and throw BUILDINGS at opponents.

Due to his pact with his late childhood fren Kuina, Zoro trains to be the strongest swordsman in One Piece World. He views defeating Mihawk as his goal to be the strongest after the defeat which left him that long scar across his chest as a constant reminder.

Hailed as the swordsman above all the world's swordsmen, and being a member of the Shichibukai, Mihawk wanders around the seas on his own in a small raft and takes on pirates at his own whim.

He encounters Zoro at Baratie and humilated him by using only his sword-shaped pendant to take on Zoro's Santoryu. After his victory, and with Zoro attempting to give up his life upon defeat, he used his Kokutou Yoru, the strongest sworld in the world, to give Zoro a massive slash across his chest as a sign of acknowledgement of Zoro's strength and determination; leaving Zoro a challenge to win him.

He inherited 8 forms of Shigure Souen Ryu and Shigure Kintoki (a bamboo sword which becomes a katana when used with Shigure Souen Ryu) from his dad before the Varia arc and goes on to create 3 new forms taking ideas from Squalo's attacks.

Although the Ten-Year-Later version share the title of the Sword Emperor with Squalo, I think the present version will be stronger, having had special trainings from Squalo before the Choice arc and being able to infuse the Rain flames into Shigure Souen.

He thinks highly of Yamamoto, like how Mihawk thinks highly of Zoro, and compiled 101 of his battle victories into a DVD set for Yamamoto to study. His attacks, which are all named in Italian (Attacco Di Squalo, Zanna Di Squalo, Scontro Di Squalo), features the aggressiveness of the shark extensively.
